Local Hong Kong/Chinese beer brand, available everywhere from top bars to the most local street food areas. So much better than all the imported tat. And cheaper.

The price of beer in Hong Kong is reliant totally on happy hour price and location. The two main night life areas (that focus on drinking) are Wan Chai and Lan Kwai Fong. Outside of Happy Hour in Wan Chai (9 oclock and after) the price of a pint of Carlsberg (most common draught tipple in HK) would vary between $45-50 or £2.90 or £3.20. In Lan Kwai Fong the cheapest pint(Carlsberg draught outside happy hour) can be found there at $48 at the Dublin Jack. Everywhere else you will definitely pay $55-65. However during happy hour most places will have a 2-4-1 deal or cut the price of their drinks by 30-50% in both Lan Kwai Fong and Wan chai. $30-35 would be expected in wanchai before 9 oclock. The cheapest beer in Hong Kong can be found on Lamma Island (approx 25 mins away from central by ferry-pier 4). Here before 9pm you can secure a pint for around $25-28 (£1.80) and after 9 the price will raise to $30-32 or (£1.90-2) Bars that offer these prices on lamma (all of them!) are the Island Bar, Fountains Head, Deli Lamma, Diesels Sports Bar. Lamma is my personal favourite for drinking, not very vibrant but a good crowd and you can have your pints over looking the ocean or sat outside the pub.
